Medication management
Medication management involves the management of psychotropic medications used to treat a variety of mental health conditions. Medication management is not for every client. When psychotropic medication is indicated, the mental healthcare provider re-evaluates the patient during each visit to determine whether or not it is beneficial to continue the treatment regimen. Adjustments may be made to the plan of care to increase the rate of recovery and to enhance the quality of life. The ultimate goal is to find the right balance for the client.
The treatment plan may require follow-up appointments a few weeks after your initial evaluation. You may choose to schedule this appointment as an in-person (office), or secured video conferencing). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. In the case of an emergency, please call 988.
Our practice uses QbTest Telehealth, one of the widest FDA cleared medical devices providing objective data for diagnosing and treating ADHD. This objective data allows us to more accurately diagnose ADHD and put the patient’s symptoms into the context of age and gender.
Qb-Test have high clinical validity and have shown significant results in more than 30 independent research publications.
Our practice uses QbTest Telehealth to enhance the procedure of ADHD diagnosis with objective data, which leads to improved diagnostic accuracy and a more efficient, precise process to treatment optimization.
What is QbTest?
QbTest is a FDA cleared computer based test that measures the core symptoms associated with ADHD
including hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention/distractibility. The test results are presented in a
report that compares your results with a non-ADHD group of people of the same age and gender.
Qb-Test fees: $199
Psychotherapy
I am trained in several evidence-based psychotherapy modalities and weave them into my practice, whether we’re doing medication management, integrative psychiatry, or working on lifestyle and habit change. I draw from mindfulness-based approaches and mind-body interventions, CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy), and have specialized training in trauma interventions.
Psychotherapy, or “talk therapy” is a powerful way to identify and change troubling thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I will listen to your story and work collaboratively with you to find new ways to not only cope but thrive.

What is the GeneSight® Psychotropic test?
The GeneSight Psychotropic test is a genetic test that shows your provider how your genes may affect medication outcomes. The GeneSight test may reveal which medications to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health conditions require dose adjustments, be less likely to work, or have an increased risk of side effects based on your DNA.
Pharmacogenetic testing:
The GeneSight test (Pharmacogenetic testing) helps your provider to understand how the patient’s DNA may impact their outcomes with certain medications.
Telepsychiatry/Telehealth
Patients who choose telepsychiatry or Telehealth receive mental health care remotelyvia secured videoconferencing. Similar to an in-person encounter, the healthcare provider can evaluate and care for the patient from a convenient location. Currently, all of our visits are done remotely, however it is important to note that telehealth may not be the right choice for everyone. While it is convenient, some individuals may prefer an in-person interaction. If telehealth is not right for you, please visit our clinic.
